Our commitment
J.C. Equity Group wants everyone to be able to learn from and use this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we keep working on it.
What we’ve done
- Pages are built to work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to main content” link.
- Text and controls are checked against WCAG AA color-contrast levels.
- Meaningful images have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms have visible labels. Errors are listed at the top of the form and next to each field, and they’re announced to screen readers.
- Pages use headings and landmarks in a logical order so they’re easy to navigate.
- Animation is turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Layouts adapt to small phone screens without sideways scrolling.
We check the site with automated tests and by hand, including keyboard-only walk-throughs, at phone and desktop sizes.
Known limitations
- Content we link to on other sites, such as our social media pages, is run by those services and may not meet the same standards.
- We’re still reviewing some pages, including the full financing inquiry form, against the same checks.
