WHO WE ARE

James Witherington

James Witherington, Founder

James retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service, including time in special operations. He received the Purple Heart for wounds sustained in Afghanistan and is a service-disabled veteran.

He holds an MBA and an M.S. in Data Science. His background is in commercial real estate finance and real estate development.

He started J.C. Equity Group to help real estate investors and builders get the right capital structure for their projects. We arrange, refer, and structure business-purpose financing. We are not a lender.

What’s the difference between Apply and Partners?

Apply is for sponsors and brokers with a financing file. Partners is a relationship conversation for learners and capital interest — never an offering.

Do you promise returns or rates?

No. Education and process only. No rates, returns, or fee percentages on this site.
